Clover and the Bee’s first single, “Love Song #6” was written by Eric Christopher after listening to a lot Felice and Boudleaux Bryant songs. They were a husband and wife songwriting team who wrote a lot of famous songs, including “Love Hurts,” “Sleepless Nights,” and, um, “Rocky Top” (we won’t talk about that one). Their specialty was the love-gone-wrong song with an unbreakable melody. This is our best attempt at that.
